Our calendar is filled with exciting events and celebrations throughout the year, including Teachers’ Day, Holi, Diwali, New Year, Christmas, and Lohri, where students and staff come together to honor traditions and enjoy festivities. National pride is celebrated with great enthusiasm on Republic Day and Independence Day, instilling a sense of patriotism among our students. Our Annual Sports Meet promotes healthy competition and teamwork, encouraging students to excel beyond the classroom. Each event is thoughtfully organized to provide joyful experiences and lasting memories for everyone involved.

Independence Day at Decent is a grand and patriotic celebration that instills a deep sense of pride and unity among students, staff, and the community. The day begins with the hoisting of the national flag, accompanied by a spirited rendition of the national anthem, filling the campus with a sense of reverence. Cultural performances, including traditional dances, songs, and skits, highlight the rich heritage and sacrifices made for the nation’s freedom.The event is further enriched with creative activities like poster-making, essay competitions, and quizzes that encourage active participation and learning. With the entire school adorned in vibrant decorations reflecting the colors of the national flag, the atmosphere is one of joy, pride, and unity, making Independence Day a truly memorable occasion at Decent.

Christmas

Christmas at Decent is a joyous and heartwarming celebration that brings the entire school community together in the spirit of love, hope, and togetherness. Students and staff participate in vibrant performances, including carol singing, nativity plays, and dance routines, spreading the magic of the holiday season. Special activities like Christmas craft workshops, gift exchanges, and card-making competitions add a touch of creativity and excitement. A highlight of the day is the arrival of Santa Claus, bringing cheer and distributing gifts to the children, filling the air with joy and laughter. The celebration culminates with a special Christmas feast, where everyone comes together to share delicious treats and embrace the true essence of the season – spreading love, kindness, and goodwill.

Janmashtami at Decent is celebrated with immense devotion, enthusiasm, and cultural vibrancy, bringing the teachings of Lord Krishna to life. The day begins with a special assembly featuring devotional songs, enlightening speeches, and prayers, creating a spiritual and serene atmosphere. Students take part in captivating performances such as dance dramas depicting Krishna's life and the timeless stories from the Mahabharata, highlighting the values of truth, love, and righteousness. A key highlight is the 'Dahi Handi' event, where students enthusiastically form human pyramids to break the pot, symbolizing teamwork, dedication, and festivity. The campus is beautifully adorned with colorful decorations, traditional rangoli, and Jhankis (tableaus) showcasing scenes from Krishna's life. Activities like flute-making, pot-painting, and storytelling sessions add to the joy of the celebration, ensuring active participation and cultural learning.

Diwali at Decent is celebrated with immense joy, vibrant festivities, and a spirit of togetherness, making it a truly memorable occasion for everyone. The campus comes alive with colorful decorations, beautiful rangoli designs, and glittering diyas, creating a warm and festive atmosphere. The celebration begins with a special assembly that includes prayers, devotional songs, and speeches highlighting the significance of Diwali as the festival of lights and the victory of good over evil. Students enthusiastically participate in cultural performances, such as traditional dances, skits, and music recitals, that beautifully convey the message of unity, prosperity, and harmony. Creative activities like diya painting, lantern making, and essay competitions allow students to showcase their talent and immerse themselves in the festive spirit. The day also features thought-provoking sessions on eco-friendly celebrations, encouraging students to embrace sustainability while enjoying the festival.
